The Knit Kit :

We will have some of these on display at TNNA, along with other great ideas for marketing and display of The Knit Kit. Hi everyone - We are getting ready for the TNNA show is Columbus, Ohio. Going to show is always both exciting and overwhelming. There is the excitement of seeing new and old friends, putting a face to the names of all our customers, and seeing all the fabulous knits that everyone will be wearing. And then there is the pure work of setting up the booths, making the "what did we forget THIS time" list, and standing on the floor for all those hours. But the show is SO worth it - seeing new ideas, feeling the energy, hearing all the hints and buzz.

Happy Monday everyone. I cleaned my UFO's this weekend. OMG!! The good thing is that now they are each in their own bag, with all their patterns and stuff. The bad thing is that I have too many! The red heart scarf that is a design from long ago, that I was sick of because of nups. The beautiful green sweater from Tussock that would be perfect for spring, but its too short, so i cut off the ribbing and now have to pick up all the stitches and knit another 4 inches. The red/russet/wine shawl that I have NO IDEA what row I am on (and of course its lace). And the list goes on.

At least, we hope so! Hi - I'm Mary, the 'new kid' on The Knit Kit block (or blog!). We are busy getting ready for the TNNA show (a retailers market), and planning lots of goodies and surprises for everyone. I am an avid knitter, crocheter, quilter, and I admit, I have a 'hoarder' instinct when it comes to fiber, yarn, fabric. I know that somewhere there is a 12-step program for this, but I don't want to know! I love my fiber! Currently on the needles are 1) a baby sweater, 2) beaded scarf, 3) sweater, and 4) shawl. Oh, and I forgot - a chicken!

We have decided that since most of you have purchased The Knit Kit sight unseen, that it would be helpful to have an instructional video on how it functions. It's short and to the point but we hope it demonstrates it's usefulness. Watch The Knit Kit Demo here.

The time has finally come to ship out all The Knit Kits everyone has ordered. We are packing and shipping as fast as we can to get these to your LYS. We hope everyone is as excited as we are to get these! Check back here and on our site, in the next few days, to see a short video demonstration of how it functions and its durability. We have put it through many days of travel and its form, as well as it function, has performed flawlessly. Again, we hope you are as excited as we are for you to have them in hand!

Whew! Since returning from TNNA, the phones have been ringing off the hook and email has been coming in droves, thanks to a write up in Knitters Review and different blogs- Ravelry, Craftzine, Lime and Violet and Yarn Market. The show was a great success and we have made many new friends from all over the country. Our next planned show is TNNA in Columbus, Ohio and thanks for all the feedback!
